Gamma Mind Enhancement Experiment - Days 5, 6 & 7
June 22nd, 2007
The past three days have provided some very interesting results in the Gamma mind enhancement technology experiment. I decided to combine all three reports into one post for simplicity's sake.
During the 30-minute session on Day 5, I didn't experience the tingling in my head that I'd felt during the earlier sessions, nor did I experience the body pulsing phenomenon. I tried to repeat the meditation technique I'd used on Day 4 to see if I would get the same results, and the results were indeed very similar.
I was able to focus my awareness on the meditation without being distracted by other thoughts or by physical sensations. Going into the session that night, I'd almost expected to be distracted by the pain I had been feeling in my lower back throughout most of the day, but I had no trouble releasing the awareness of my physical body and instead fully tuning in to the mental aspect of the meditation technique. The entire process felt much easier than usual. There was no difficulty holding the desired thought in mind, and no struggle with other thoughts constantly popping into my mind.
On Days 6 and 7, I practiced a few energy manipulation techniques during each night's session. I'm studying Qigong — a form of Chinese energy work, which I'll describe in more detail in a future entry — and I wanted to see what would happen if I practiced certain techniques while using the gamma technology. I specifically wanted to find out if the technology would amplify the energy work or, alternately, detract from it.
Based on my experiences during those two sessions, I'd have to say the answer is that it definitely amplifies the work. Within only a few seconds of beginning the techniques, I felt like I was surrounded by a sea of energy. Everything around me was flowing, pulsing, vibrating. The techniques felt natural and almost effortless. It was a wonderfully exhilarating experience.
After both sessions, I also was left with a strong tingling sensation in my head. On Day 6, the sensation faded approximately one hour after the session ended. On Day 7, it lasted slightly longer, a bit over two hours. The sensation was very prominent in my forehead, which was the first place I felt it when it began and the last place I felt it as it faded away, but I also felt it throughout other areas in my head.
The very intense dreams have continued throughout the experiment, so I am beginning to think there is a high probability they're caused by the gamma technology.

This sounds very promising. The times I've combined Bwgen with energy work were also rewarding, but not to that level. It's also interesting that your forehead was where you experienced the most powerful tingling. Does the area match up with the "third eye" region, by any chance? If so, that would also match up with the supposed psychic effects, as that area is supposed to be linked with psychic prowess. My suspicion is that the more your forehead buzzes, the closer you're getting to that psychic phenomenon side effect.

Hi Hatter,
The area in my forehead did match up with the "third eye" region. There was a lot of buzzing and tingling in that area during the next couple of sessions too (I haven't posted about those days yet), along with a strong buzzing/tingling sensation I felt on the top of my head, though to a lesser degree than in the forehead. I'll probably post something about Days 8 and 9 later today instead of waiting until tomorrow to combine it with Day 10's report.
